Miné (mee-neh) Okubo was a talented artist making a name for herself in the San Fransisco Bay Area. But for two years, she was given a different name: Citizen 13660.
Miné chronicled her two years of internment in a series of over 2,000 drawings which gave the world a first-hand account of life in the Japanese internment camps.
